HHG Legal Group is a truly unique legal firm in the WA market. Having acquired and resurrected a small law firm in Albany in 2003, HHG started out with just 5 staff and in 2006 opened its first Perth office. No other firm has been so strategic in its growth or provides the highly specialised advice which it does – HHG is the largest firm in regional WA and with an effective and aggressive branding program, is being recognised as a strong player in the metropolitan legal services market.

Harley Lacy – Managing Director

Outback Ecology is an award winning environmental consultancy based in Perth. Commencing in 1990 Outback Ecology operated on a part-time basis in regional WA but was soon moved to Perth due to its consistently positive growth. Outback’s reputation for the delivery to quality science, practical field-based approach and depth of knowledge has seen them become a trusted supplier to many of Australia’s leading and emerging mining and oil and gas companies including BHP Billiton; Riot Tinto; Chevron – just  to name a few.

David Guille & Marcus Kotsoglo – Managing Directors

In 2004 David Guille and Marcus Kotsoglo took a chance and ventured together to build a successful construction enterprise. Drawing on their reputation, experience and hard work ethic, Building Solutions has sustained significant growth since its inception and throughout the GFC. From humble beginnings with just two directors Building Solutions now have 20 staff, are working on 20 major projects and have been awarded the Best New Commercial Builder in WA for 2009.

Peter Peard – Founder & Managing Director

Peard Real Estate began in 1997 with just one office and three staff and was established due to recognising an opportunity in the market for a singularly owned Real Estate organisation. 13 years later, the company comprises of 9 branch offices and a business model to ultimately provide complete administrative and marketing support to each branch. In over a decade they have established themselves as one of the most successfully locally owned and operated real estate groups implementing industry firsts.

Steve & Marie Cloughley – Founders

WA Cleanskin Cellars is WA’s first and only dedicated cleanskin wine specialist. Starting up 5 years ago its first store in Subiaco attracted fierce opposition from the large liquor chains and led to a lengthy and costly court battle which saw the business succeed and later, become the first Liquor Store Licence to trade on a Sunday. WA Cleanskin Cellars’ values of hard work and fairness has been instilled by their own personal views and has led to the business to become widely respected in Perth.

In 2007 Averna Homes first opened its doors with four staff members and a desire to approach designing and building of luxury homes differently to its competitors. CHOOKS fresh & tasty aims to be the ‘champion of chicken’ and is dedicated to providing the freshest and tastiest chicken and chips to local communities across Australia. CHOOKS’ clearly defined strategy and business model has seen its profit and growth steadily increase since its major rebranding campaign growing from 15 stores in 2003 to now 40 stores – with 34 of these located in Western Australia. Since 2006 CHOOKS has featured and ranked in both BRW’s Fast Franchise and Fastest Growing Franchise lists.

Gary Denton & Lee Corbitt – Directors

Marble Group was founded on a strong desire to transform the way people view and place value on the recruitment industry. In 2006 Directors Gary Denton & Lee Corbitt took the plunge and set about establishing a specialist talent search firm with a difference. Within 3 ½ years they have been recognised as one of BRW’s fastest growing start up businesses and named 15th place in Westpac’s Smart Company Awards for 2009 and still have recognised opportunities to further their growth.
